जैन दर्शन के अनुसार सम्पूर्ण लोक इन्हीं छह द्रव्यों से बना है।

In Jain metaphysics the entire universe is made of exactly these six substances.

• जीव

  Jiva

  The soul — the only conscious substance.

• पुद्गल

  Pudgala

  Matter — everything with form, taste, smell and touch.

• धर्म

  Dharma

  The medium that makes motion possible.

• अधर्म

  Adharma

  The medium that makes rest possible.

• आकाश

  Akasha

  Space — that which gives everything room to exist.

• काल

  Kala

  Time — that by which change is measured.
